The Procurement and Compliance Department is dedicated to ensuring integrity, accountability, and transparency in the procurement process. Here's an overview of our department's key functions:

• We supervise the implementation of established procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By providing oversight and guidance, we promote consistency and adherence to best practices in procurement activities.
• Our department is committed to preventing fraudulent and unfair procurement practices through rigorous monitoring and enforcement measures. We conduct regular assessments and investigations to identify and address any irregularities or instances of non-compliance.
• We conduct regular procurement audits to evaluate compliance with procurement regulations and best practices. Our comprehensive reports are submitted to the House of Assembly, contributing to enhanced accountability and transparency in procurement processes.
• We enforce monetary thresholds and issue certificates of "No Objection" for contract awards within prescribed limits. By adhering to established guidelines, we facilitate efficient procurement processes while ensuring fairness and integrity.
